Question: What is the lemon law?

I'm having car problems and wondering if I was sold a lemon. What is the lemon law and how do I get more info? Thanks

It applies to new cars only, and there is a 3 strike rule that applies to attempts to fix the original condition.

That means if you can squeeze water out of your lemon instead of good quality lemonade, than you can return the lemon within a certain period of days and ask for a refund or all repairs to be done. Lemon laws are American state laws that provide a remedy for purchasers of cars that repeatedly fail to meet standards of quality and performance. These cars are called lemons. The federal lemon law (the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act) protects citizens of all states. State lemon laws vary by state and may not necessarily cover used or leased cars.
