Help on lemon law! I just bought a car and on the second day the engine light came on?

I bought a used 2008 Nissan Versa with manufacturer warranty left on it. Within a few months I was at my local dealership for squeaking rear brakes. Actions taken were brake pad and shoe replacement, total rear brake replacement, " scratching" the brake pads to provide more friction, and finally a " fix" replacement per a TSB put out by Nissan. However, less than two months later my rear brakes began to emit a medium pitched moan in reverse The dealership has been awesome, but they can't do anything else for me because there's no real fix from those above them. They recommended that I call Consumer Affairs and ask for an extended warranty since they can't fix my problem I'm also going to ask for a free maintenance plan for my troubles too . The dealer said they'd back me up on the request when Nissan checks back with them because I've been there 10 documented times in the last year for the problem, and other times that weren't documented because they couldn't actually do anything. Now that you've read my story, I want to know if my issue could qualify for lemon law recourse. I would like to threaten this when I call tomorrow if it is a possibility. If it is possible, please recommend to me how I can get a replacement vehicle rather than a warranty on this bogus one My state's laws say it could qualify as a lemon after one year or during the warranty period if repeated attempts have been made to fix a defect that affects safety, use, or value. I think this would fall under value, as it is a huge annoyance and prevents me from being able to sell the car. My car is not technically under warranty anymore even though we have continually been working on the issue since it was and I can show documentation of that.

My husband bought a car a few months ago and ever since we've had it we've had nothing but problems. It blows fuses left and right, the fan quit working on it, the tailights and brake lights went out and the turn signals keep going out. It's got alot of electrical problems. My father in law said that they car lot cannot legally sale a car that is unsafe and having electrical problems make the car unsafe and it won't pass a vehicle inspection but the car was sold as is, so I don't think there's much we can do about it. Can we have the car lot fix the problems or are they not obligated in making the car safer since it was sold as is?

I'm in Michigan. I sold my car to some guy and now he says somethings wrong with the oil pressure and that he wants his money back. He claims he's protected by the lemon law. As far as I can tell the lemon law is more of a garuntee from dealers whose cars are under warranty. I figured since I'm a private party it was sold as is. So am I right? Or am I obligated to return his money?

last September i bought a car from a private dealer. since then i had to replace a battery, radiator, and the oil was almost empty and black. A little while after the purchase, the check engine light came on seems like they turned it off because now it isn't passing inspection and sometimes the head lights don't turn off causing me to have to unscrew the battery to turn them off. what is the time period of when I can still have the previous owner pay for the repairs or even take the car back with full refund? does anyone have any suggestions for me?thank youi'm in philadelphia, pennsylvania

2000 Saturn....Lemon Law?
My wife and I have a 2000 Saturn. We have had this car for almost 2 years now. Looking at the hood, You can see it is pushed over to one side. Also the car looks like it leaning to one side. I think the car might have been in a major accident at one time but when we got the car, the dealership didnt tell us if it was in an accident or not. If I have a carfax pulled and see that it was in a accident that we didnt know about, can I sue them under florida lemon law?
